Cambio de tercio
I must say when a friend of mind recommended me to go to Cambio de Tercio his glowing comments made me question it from the very start of the journey.
Thanks God I managed to find the time because honestly the whole experience was superb.
The wine list was really truly spanish, not like Salt Yard or Barrafina, the food was brilliant, both a clever interpretation of raw materials wonderfully combined and also very honest, which does not happen often.
After 9 dishes (tapas style) we went for the desert which I normally don’t dare to try but in this case it was the crowing moment and probably the best desert I have ever had combined with a great selection of sweet wines (moscatel).
The price is more than correct although the bill can easily escalate due to both wines and exquisite Jabugo.
In any case, if you are for a serious business dinner, a date that you want to surprise or a simple meeting with friends that can tell the difference between parma ham and jabugo then this is the place to go.
By the way, the service is slow, which is the way it has to be when you cook everything for real instead of re-heat so don’t go in a hurry or you will be very disappointed.
And yes, you need to reserve way in advance or you won’t eat here.
