Given the current optimism with Houdini and the necessary transition from Softimage artists and to a different 3D application I have been embarking on demistifying a few things about Houdini and the wonderful guys from CICE and specially Miguel Gomez did consider publishing this interview on the subject. I hope you like it, it is only in Spanish but I am certain the Google translator will do a decent job. Interview CICE
A true classic in Barcelona, offers a fantastic opportunity to understand Catalan cousins and its traditional form and really high-quality products. The service is exceptional so be ready for a great experience. The setting is beautiful and a bit formal so try to look the part, get a bit elegant and treat yourself to what surely will be an amazing experience (if you allow yourself to of course). My feeling is that this is the one place you want to explore new things and ask for recommendations, surely an occasion to take your partner for a great night out… or […]
After quite a few years living abroad to my surprise I ended up having lunch at this beautiful and honest place, the food was delicious and the environment quite amazing as it is situated in the back of the very famous Boqueria. Funny enough there was close to no tourists so it felt really really local and the produce was clearly fresh from the market. All in all I highly recommend to go to this particular restaurant and indulge yourself in the very unknown Catalan cousins which in my humble opinion is the best kept secret in the culinary world. […]
David Beckham and Kevin Hart adventure to Vegas
An enigmatic and fascinating piece by one of the best directors out there right now, truly an amazing experience to work with such a visionary and the team at MJZ who managed once again to make look simple the complex production requirements.
There are few projects where a director’s vision is so radical, creative and demands such a technical effort as to challenge every single artist to the limit. Very few indeed with the gravitas to pull it off and take the whole team in such an amazing journey to help translate his vision into reality but this time I have also been exceptionally lucky to be working with some truly exceptional people and bring what seems like an effortless execution to life.
After two years at Realise I have decided to move to Glassworks as Creative Director and continue my journey to produce memorable work. On this journey I have stretched my muscles beyond what I though was possible, learned a lot, produce some beautiful pieces I regard as some of the best I have produced and now that I found my true voice it is my aim to help Glassworks raise to be the best post production house. Why Glassworks? I do believe is the only top tier company that truly values the craft, has an amazing culture, history and pedigree, […]
It feels I found my voice in between the most traditional effects and the very cutting edge technology and in this new chapter of this is a great representation of working for the story rather than for the fireworks of accomplished VFX.
What a wonderful project to be part of, in my opinion the bravest creative agency putting a radical proposition forward and actually pushing for it till the end. It is an inspiration to work with such talented and committed group of creatives in a time of general mediocrity and safety.
This edition of Mundos Digitales has been specially incredible, not only the speaker line up was fantastic, the material shown gets better and better every year, but also had the number of reasons to feel this was the best edition I have been.
