Mundos Digitales 2011
Once again my favourite festival and I was invited to give a talk amongst some of the most brilliant people I have ever met, from Peter Plantec to Gonzalo Rueda and countless other speakers… it was brilliant to say the least. The festival has a unique approach in that it relates to students and professionals on various categories; games, architecture and visual effects, all under one roof and organised seamlessly. Verizon : Droid Charge
A great opportunity to put my latest research in true motion, not only little tests but truly a new approach on our lighting pipeline that did permit us to produce such huge job in record time without suffering too much.
Comfort : GAP
My directorial debut and a wonderful experience where I feel a part of me lives. From the script, editing and planning to the production journey I have memories I will cherish forever.. and a few scars too of course as every single thing I get involved I put a lot of passion and learn the hard way this is not only my baby, but other’s baby too so I should be respectful of what I have in my hands.
Audi : Paper Liberation
This is one of those jobs that pushes our technical tricks to the limit, from the shoot itself that required lots of time and effort to the actual paper carving and of course, paper landing in a natural way but directable and for this we used every single tool under the sky, from XSI to Maya to Houdini, from Zbrush to… anyway… almost all of them.
Hapa Izakaya
If you like Japanese cuisine you are going to love this modern fusion take on it for both it’s quality and the cool environment. A true must for any visitor to Vancouver.
Cioppino’s
A refreshing export of mediterranean food and wine knowledge that will make you think you are in Italy or Spain when you close your eyes and realise you are in the new world by the uncomplicated approach, fine dining without the uptight service yet very professional one.
Panascout
What a great surprise to see traditional gear manufacturers embrace the world we live in by creating a very useful iPhone App to go on a scout and register the locations, daylight, sunset, etc…
Mill Colour
No matter how we say the iPhone and iPad don’t have any solution for colour correction The Mill provides a free tool aimed towards professional workflow colour correction, and I mean as if you were on a mini-telecine, which when you are on a shoot can be pretty interesting to visualise where are you heading.
