Of course they are already evil, and dangerous. But truth is, so is everyone else: Apple, Facebook, even Microsoft. All of them are in a way or another in the "information collecting" business. It'll be interesting when Apple or Facebook (or both) get into the search business, it won't be that long.

Hi Ed, have a look at the schematic view, there you can see the names of the cubes and how they are related.

But to cut it short, I am manipulating, not putting keyframes and the whole point is to outline how in compensation mode the transformation is not travelling down the hierarchy.

I will try to develop further on the rotation of bones as there are many unclear areas on what is the best way to have rotations correctly working.

thanks for your comments.

hi.
in the part of "Manipulation modes" it's not very explicity what's happening. who's cube1? who's cube3? in the animation you are only rotating with child compensation and not setting keyframes, right? because when using compensation and setting keyframes, my child cube [cube3, i suppose] moves as well...

great tutorial anyway. would expect some more about rotation os bones, which i have problems quite often [they just flip direction. i think it has something to do with this critical zone, but i don't get it]

thanks
