One of my first product projects, and I ended up having to step up to directing it due to logistics and other issues and with only 3 weeks to put it all together, I relied on some super talented artists to make it happen.
Approach
The core idea was to introduce this product in a graphic, mysterious way and highlight the key features in the film. Especially the camera, fingerprint, screen and powerful processor and battery.
Direction
Inspired by the new wave of product-driven photography in CGI, I designed the project in such a way that we could seamlessly navigate through the key features, from finger sensor to high-quality screen, Snapdragon processor, camera lens and connectivity.
I am particularly proud of diving into the screen design where we reveal the RGB LED patterns as we dive inside in a gentle way to find the processor cores assembling.
We designed the phone space in golden tones to bring a sense of luxury and atmosphere that, when combined with the graphics, offered a premium look.
