Mixing two personal favourites — Star Wars and Oreo — this was one of the most exciting animation projects we've taken on.

Directed by Kyle Cody, the film draws on the visual language and spirit of the original trilogy without trying to recreate it shot-for-shot. The starting point was an exceptional AI-generated storyboard that mapped out every scene with real precision — our job was to translate that into camera and motion in a way that felt alive.

To get the Star Wars feel right, we brought in artists with genuine franchise experience — people who understood the grammar of those films instinctively, and whose knowledge kept the animation and camerawork consistent with the originals. When you're working from storyboards that detailed, creative latitude naturally tightens, but we found our moments — certain shots genuinely called for an extra burst of energy, and we made sure to deliver it.

We also used the project as an opportunity to test new tools and processes, pushing to achieve that sense of epic scale Star Wars demands, within the time we had. It came together into something we're really proud of.
